Every family has their own holiday traditions and there is one here at Anchor Center for Blind Children that  started this year--a Gingerbread House decorating party. 

Tigger, Pooh and many of their friends all made an appearance yesterday for Anchor Center's Halloween Toddler session.

The first-ever Cherrity Pie Festival, hosted by Pie Forensics, raised over $22,000 for Anchor Center for Blind Children.

It’s exciting to watch something grow and that’s how the students, staff and parents at Anchor Center for Blind Children feel about the preschool program. Starting in August 2011, for the first time, Anchor Center has an afternoon preschool class from 1:15 to 3:15 for the little ones who are not quite big enough for the larger preschool environment but who are too big for the Toddler classes.

With Merial the Mermaid as their mascot, students are splashing into the summer program at Anchor Center for Blind Children with our Magic, Math and Mermaids theme.

They do not spit or kick, which is better behavior than many expect out of typical preschoolers, that is why a Llama is the prefect preschool companion—at least for a day. To go along with their story for June, Is Your Mama a Llama, kids at Anchor Center for Blind Children were afforded a special visit with two llamas from Stage Stop Llamas.
