More ways you can help Anchor Center for Blind Children!
Vehicle Donations
Getting a new car? Donate your old one. There are many advantages:
-
You get to deduct the sale amount of the vehicle after it is sold at auction.
-
You don't have to worry about delivering your car. We'll have it towed for you
at no charge.
-
Anchor Center for Blind Children, in partnership with ARC Vehicles for Charity
Program, receives a portion of the proceeds from selling your car at auction
prices.
To donate your car, contact Sheila Galatowitsch, Director of Development at
303-377-9732 or the ARC Vehicle Donation Line* at 303-308-2400.
*Please mention that you want the donation credited to Anchor Center.
Donate Your Frequent Flyer Miles!
Anchor Center could use your frequent flyer miles to transport children for
medical treatment out of state and to send our vision teachers to seminars,
training and conferences. If you would like to donate your frequent flyer
miles, call the Development Office at 303-377-9732.
Third Party Events
Anchor Center for Blind Children classifies any event that is not conducted
through the Anchor Center office as a third party event. Many organizations and
individuals have held these events to benefit Anchor Center.
A few examples of local third party events include group bake sales, garage
sales, family reunions, family golf tournaments, neighborhood gatherings and
snowmobile runs. Student groups often hold events as both learning and
philanthropic opportunities.
All ideas are good ideas! For more ideas or to let us know what you would like
