Anchor Center for Blind Children strives to empower families through the support received from a variety of comprehensive services:

• Specialized early intervention and educational programming
• Parent education and support groups
• Facilitation of access to additional community resources
• Transdisciplinary Services

Our Family Support Services provide a variety of resources for parents of children who are visually impaired or blind including:

• A parent newsletter
• Semi-monthly parent meetings
• Parent resources as you will see in this section of our Web site
• A parent information center at Anchor Center for Blind Children supplied with journals, child development books and videos for parent education.
• Financial assistance for families who are facing challenging times.
